About
Who we are
Citadel Worship is a live worship band based in Rochester, Minnesota. We take our name from Proverbs 18:10 — the name of the LORD is a strong tower — and that is more or less the whole idea. A citadel is somewhere you run to when you need somewhere to run.
We play churches, weddings, camps, and community nights across southeastern Minnesota. Some nights that means a full band and a click track. Some nights it means two acoustics and a room that sings louder than we do. We come ready for either, and we bring our own gear if you need us to.
What we care about is that the room leaves having met with God, not having watched a show. Everything else — the set, the sound, the lights — serves that or it gets cut.

What we play
Four kinds of nights, and we prepare differently for each one. Tell us which one yours is and we will tell you what we would bring.

Churches & worship nights
Sunday mornings, midweek services, and worship nights. We will learn your set or bring ours, run to your click and your lyrics software, and get out of the way of what the room is there to do.

Weddings
Ceremony, cocktail hour, or the whole evening. Processionals and first dances get rehearsed properly rather than winged, and we will learn a song that matters to you if you ask early enough.

Community & corporate events
Patios, festivals, fundraisers, and venue nights. We carry a full PA and can play acoustic and quiet or full band and loud, depending on what the space can take.

Camps, retreats & youth
Multi-day camps, college ministry, and youth retreats. Long weekends with several sets a day are the format we know best, and we travel for them.
